    Die de weldadigheid bewaart aan vele duizenden, Die de ongerechtigheid, en overtreding, en zonde vergeeft; Die den schuldige geenszins onschuldig houdt, bezoekende de ongerechtigheid der vaderen aan de kinderen, en aan de kindskinderen, in het derde en vierde lid.

    De HEERE is lankmoedig en groot van weldadigheid, vergevende de ongerechtigheid en overtreding, die den schuldige geenszins onschuldig houdt, bezoekende de ongerechtigheid der vaderen aan de kinderen, in het derde en in het vierde lid.

    Gij zult dan weten, dat de HEERE, uw God, die God is, die getrouwe God, welke het verbond en de weldadigheid houdt dien, die Hem liefhebben, en Zijn geboden houden tot in duizend geslachten.

    Zo zal het geschieden, omdat gij deze rechten zult horen, en houden, en dezelve doen, dat de HEERE, uw God, u het verbond en de weldadigheid zal houden, die Hij uw vaderen gezworen heeft;

    And the men answered her, Our life for yours, if ye utter not this our business. And it shall be, when the LORD hath given us the land, that we will deal kindly and truly with thee.

    Toen spraken die mannen tot haar: Onze ziel zij voor ulieden om te sterven, indien gijlieden deze onze zaak niet te kennen geeft; het zal dan geschieden, wanneer de HEERE ons dit land geeft, zo zullen wij aan u weldadigheid en trouw bewijzen.

    וַיֹּ֣אמֶר שָׁא֣וּל אֶֽל־ הַקֵּינִ֡י לְכוּ֩ סֻּ֨רוּ רְד֜וּ מִתּ֣וֹךְ עֲמָלֵקִ֗י פֶּן־ אֹֽסִפְךָ֙ עִמּ֔וֹ וְאַתָּ֞ה עָשִׂ֤יתָה חֶ֙סֶד֙ עִם־ כָּל־ בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל בַּעֲלוֹתָ֖ם מִמִּצְרָ֑יִם וַיָּ֥סַר קֵינִ֖י מִתּ֥וֹךְ עֲמָלֵֽק׃

    And Saul said unto the Kenites, Go, depart, get you down from among the Amalekites, lest I destroy you with them: for ye shewed kindness to all the children of Israel, when they came up out of Egypt. So the Kenites departed from among the Amalekites.

    En Saul liet den Kenieten zeggen: Gaat weg, wijkt, trekt af uit het midden der Amalekieten, opdat ik u met hen niet wegruime; want gij hebt barmhartigheid gedaan aan al de kinderen Israels, toen zij uit Egypte opkwamen. Alzo weken de Kenieten uit het midden der Amalekieten.

29. 1 Samuel 20:8

    וְעָשִׂ֤יתָ חֶ֙סֶד֙ עַל־ עַבְדֶּ֔ךָ כִּ֚י בִּבְרִ֣ית יְהוָ֔ה הֵבֵ֥אתָ אֶֽת־ עַבְדְּךָ֖ עִמָּ֑ךְ וְאִם־ יֶשׁ־ בִּ֤י עָוֹן֙ הֲמִיתֵ֣נִי אַ֔תָּה וְעַד־ אָבִ֖יךָ לָמָּה־ זֶּ֥ה תְבִיאֵֽנִי׃ פ

    Therefore thou shalt deal kindly with thy servant; for thou hast brought thy servant into a covenant of the LORD with thee: notwithstanding, if there be in me iniquity, slay me thyself; for why shouldest thou bring me to thy father?

    Doe dan barmhartigheid aan uw knecht, want gij hebt uw knecht in een verbond des HEEREN met u gebracht; maar is er een misdaad in mij, zo dood gij mij; waarom zoudt gij mij toch tot uw vader brengen?

30. 1 Samuel 20:14

    וְלֹ֖א אִם־ עוֹדֶ֣נִּי חָ֑י וְלֹֽא־ תַעֲשֶׂ֧ה עִמָּדִ֛י חֶ֥סֶד יְהוָ֖ה וְלֹ֥א אָמֽוּת׃

    And thou shalt not only while yet I live shew me the kindness of the LORD, that I die not:

    En zult gij niet, indien ik dan nog leve, ja, zult gij niet de weldadigheid des HEEREN aan mij doen, dat ik niet sterve?

31. 1 Samuel 20:15

    וְלֹֽא־ תַכְרִ֧ת אֶֽת־ חַסְדְּךָ֛ מֵעִ֥ם בֵּיתִ֖י עַד־ עוֹלָ֑ם וְלֹ֗א בְּהַכְרִ֤ת יְהוָה֙ אֶת־ אֹיְבֵ֣י דָוִ֔ד אִ֕ישׁ מֵעַ֖ל פְּנֵ֥י הָאֲדָמָֽה׃

    But also thou shalt not cut off thy kindness from my house for ever: no, not when the LORD hath cut off the enemies of David every one from the face of the earth.

    Ook zult gij uw weldadigheid niet afsnijden van mijn huis tot in eeuwigheid; ook niet wanneer de HEERE een iegelijk der vijanden van David van den aardbodem zal afgesneden hebben.

32. 2 Samuel 2:5

    וַיִּשְׁלַ֤ח דָּוִד֙ מַלְאָכִ֔ים אֶל־ אַנְשֵׁ֖י יָבֵ֣ישׁ גִּלְעָ֑ד וַיֹּ֣אמֶר אֲלֵיהֶ֗ם בְּרֻכִ֤ים אַתֶּם֙ לַֽיהוָ֔ה אֲשֶׁ֨ר עֲשִׂיתֶ֜ם הַחֶ֣סֶד הַזֶּ֗ה עִם־ אֲדֹֽנֵיכֶם֙ עִם־ שָׁא֔וּל וַֽתִּקְבְּר֖וּ אֹתֽוֹ׃

    And David sent messengers unto the men of Jabesh-gilead, and said unto them, Blessed be ye of the LORD, that ye have shewed this kindness unto your lord, even unto Saul, and have buried him.

    Toen zond David boden tot de mannen van Jabes in Gilead, en hij zeide tot hen: Gezegend zijt gij den HEERE, dat gij deze weldadigheid gedaan hebt aan uw heer, aan Saul, en hebt hem begraven.

33. 2 Samuel 2:6

    וְעַתָּ֕ה יַֽעַשׂ־ יְהוָ֥ה עִמָּכֶ֖ם חֶ֣סֶד וֶאֱמֶ֑ת וְגַ֣ם אָנֹכִ֗י אֶעֱשֶׂ֤ה אִתְּכֶם֙ הַטּוֹבָ֣ה הַזֹּ֔את אֲשֶׁ֥ר עֲשִׂיתֶ֖ם הַדָּבָ֥ר הַזֶּֽה׃

    And now the LORD shew kindness and truth unto you: and I also will requite you this kindness, because ye have done this thing.

    Zo doe nu de HEERE aan u weldadigheid en trouw! En ik ook, ik zal aan u dit goede doen, dewijl gij deze zaak gedaan hebt.

34. 2 Samuel 3:8

    וַיִּחַר֩ לְאַבְנֵ֨ר מְאֹ֜ד עַל־ דִּבְרֵ֣י אִֽישׁ־ בֹּ֗שֶׁת וַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙ הֲרֹ֨אשׁ כֶּ֥לֶב אָנֹ֘כִי֮ אֲשֶׁ֣ר לִֽיהוּדָה֒ הַיּ֨וֹם אֶֽעֱשֶׂה־ חֶ֜סֶד עִם־ בֵּ֣ית׀ שָׁא֣וּל אָבִ֗יךָ אֶל־ אֶחָיו֙ וְאֶל־ מֵ֣רֵעֵ֔הוּ וְלֹ֥א הִמְצִיתִ֖ךָ בְּיַד־ דָּוִ֑ד וַתִּפְקֹ֥ד עָלַ֛י עֲוֹ֥ן הָאִשָּׁ֖ה הַיּֽוֹם׃

    Then was Abner very wroth for the words of Ish-bosheth, and said, Am I a dog’s head, which against Judah do shew kindness this day unto the house of Saul thy father, to his brethren, and to his friends, and have not delivered thee into the hand of David, that thou chargest me to day with a fault concerning this woman?

    Toen ontstak Abner zeer over Isboseths woorden, en zeide: Ben ik dan een hondskop, ik, die tegen Juda, aan het huis van Saul, uw vader, aan zijn broederen en aan zijn vrienden, heden weldadigheid doe, en u niet overgeleverd heb in Davids hand, dat gij heden aan mij onderzoekt de ongerechtigheid ener vrouw?

35. 2 Samuel 7:15

    וְחַסְדִּ֖י לֹא־ יָס֣וּר מִמֶּ֑נּוּ כַּאֲשֶׁ֤ר הֲסִרֹ֙תִי֙ מֵעִ֣ם שָׁא֔וּל אֲשֶׁ֥ר הֲסִרֹ֖תִי מִלְּפָנֶֽיךָ׃

    But my mercy shall not depart away from him, as I took it from Saul, whom I put away before thee.

    Maar Mijn goedertierenheid zal van hem niet wijken, gelijk als Ik die weggenomen heb van Saul, dien Ik van voor uw aangezicht heb weggenomen.

36. 2 Samuel 9:1

    וַיֹּ֣אמֶר דָּוִ֔ד הֲכִ֣י יֶשׁ־ ע֔וֹד אֲשֶׁ֥ר נוֹתַ֖ר לְבֵ֣ית שָׁא֑וּל וְאֶעֱשֶׂ֤ה עִמּוֹ֙ חֶ֔סֶד בַּעֲב֖וּר יְהוֹנָתָֽן׃

    And David said, Is there yet any that is left of the house of Saul, that I may shew him kindness for Jonathan’s sake?

    En David zeide: Is er nog iemand die overgebleven is van het huis van Saul, dat ik weldadigheid aan hem doe, om Jonathans wil?

37. 2 Samuel 9:3

    וַיֹּ֣אמֶר הַמֶּ֗לֶךְ הַאֶ֨פֶס ע֥וֹד אִישׁ֙ לְבֵ֣ית שָׁא֔וּל וְאֶעֱשֶׂ֥ה עִמּ֖וֹ חֶ֣סֶד אֱלֹהִ֑ים וַיֹּ֤אמֶר צִיבָא֙ אֶל־ הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ ע֛וֹד בֵּ֥ן לִיהוֹנָתָ֖ן נְכֵ֥ה רַגְלָֽיִם׃

    And the king said, Is there not yet any of the house of Saul, that I may shew the kindness of God unto him? And Ziba said unto the king, Jonathan hath yet a son, which is lame on his feet.

    En de koning zeide: Is er nog iemand van het huis van Saul, dat ik Gods weldadigheid bij hem doe? Toen zeide Ziba tot den koning: Er is nog een zoon van Jonathan, die geslagen is aan beide voeten.

38. 2 Samuel 9:7

    וַיֹּאמֶר֩ ל֨וֹ דָוִ֜ד אַל־ תִּירָ֗א כִּ֣י עָשֹׂה֩ אֶעֱשֶׂ֨ה עִמְּךָ֥ חֶ֙סֶד֙ בַּֽעֲבוּר֙ יְהוֹנָתָ֣ן אָבִ֔יךָ וַהֲשִׁבֹתִ֣י לְךָ֔ אֶֽת־ כָּל־ שְׂדֵ֖ה שָׁא֣וּל אָבִ֑יךָ וְאַתָּ֗ה תֹּ֥אכַל לֶ֛חֶם עַל־ שֻׁלְחָנִ֖י תָּמִֽיד׃

    And David said unto him, Fear not: for I will surely shew thee kindness for Jonathan thy father’s sake, and will restore thee all the land of Saul thy father; and thou shalt eat bread at my table continually.

    En David zeide tot hem: Vrees niet, want ik zal zekerlijk weldadigheid bij u doen, om uws vaders Jonathans wil; en ik zal u alle akkers van uw vader Saul wedergeven; en gij zult geduriglijk brood eten aan mijn tafel.

39. 2 Samuel 10:2

    וַיֹּ֨אמֶר דָּוִ֜ד אֶעֱשֶׂה־ חֶ֣סֶד׀ עִם־ חָנ֣וּן בֶּן־ נָחָ֗שׁ כַּאֲשֶׁר֩ עָשָׂ֨ה אָבִ֤יו עִמָּדִי֙ חֶ֔סֶד וַיִּשְׁלַ֨ח דָּוִ֧ד לְנַחֲמ֛וֹ בְּיַד־ עֲבָדָ֖יו אֶל־ אָבִ֑יו וַיָּבֹ֙אוּ֙ עַבְדֵ֣י דָוִ֔ד אֶ֖רֶץ בְּנֵ֥י עַמּֽוֹן׃

    Then said David, I will shew kindness unto Hanun the son of Nahash, as his father shewed kindness unto me. And David sent to comfort him by the hand of his servants for his father. And David’s servants came into the land of the children of Ammon.

    Toen zeide David: Ik zal weldadigheid doen aan Hanun, den zoon van Nahas, gelijk als zijn vader weldadigheid aan mij gedaan heeft. Zo zond David heen, om hem door den dienst zijner knechten te troosten over zijn vader. En de knechten van David kwamen in het land van de kinderen Ammons.

40. 2 Samuel 15:20

    תְּמ֣וֹל׀ בּוֹאֶ֗ךָ וְהַיּ֞וֹם אֲנִֽיעֲךָ֤ עִמָּ֙נוּ֙ לָלֶ֔כֶת וַאֲנִ֣י הוֹלֵ֔ךְ עַ֥ל אֲשֶׁר־ אֲנִ֖י הוֹלֵ֑ךְ שׁ֣וּב וְהָשֵׁ֧ב אֶת־ אַחֶ֛יךָ עִמָּ֖ךְ חֶ֥סֶד וֶאֱמֶֽת׃

    Whereas thou camest but yesterday, should I this day make thee go up and down with us? seeing I go whither I may, return thou, and take back thy brethren: mercy and truth be with thee.

    Gisteren zijt gij gekomen, en heden zou ik u met ons omvoeren om te gaan? Zo ik toch gaan moet, waarheen ik gaan kan, keer weder; en breng uw broederen wederom; weldadigheid en trouw zij met u.

41. 2 Samuel 16:17

    וַיֹּ֤אמֶר אַבְשָׁלוֹם֙ אֶל־ חוּשַׁ֔י זֶ֥ה חַסְדְּךָ֖ אֶת־ רֵעֶ֑ךָ לָ֥מָּה לֹֽא־ הָלַ֖כְתָּ אֶת־ רֵעֶֽךָ׃

    And Absalom said to Hushai, Is this thy kindness to thy friend? why wentest thou not with thy friend?

    Maar Absalom zeide tot Husai: Is dit uw weldadigheid aan uw vriend? Waarom zijt gij niet met uw vriend getogen?

42. 2 Samuel 22:51

    מִגְדּ֖וֹל יְשׁוּע֣וֹת מַלְכּ֑וֹ וְעֹֽשֶׂה־ חֶ֧סֶד לִמְשִׁיח֛וֹ לְדָוִ֥ד וּלְזַרְע֖וֹ עַד־ עוֹלָֽם׃ פ

    He is the tower of salvation for his king: and sheweth mercy to his anointed, unto David, and to his seed for evermore.

    Hij is een Toren der verlossingen Zijns konings, en Hij doet goedertierenheid aan Zijn gezalfde, aan David en aan zijn zaad, tot in eeuwigheid.

43. 1 Koningen 2:7

    וְלִבְנֵ֨י בַרְזִלַּ֤י הַגִּלְעָדִי֙ תַּֽעֲשֶׂה־ חֶ֔סֶד וְהָי֖וּ בְּאֹכְלֵ֣י שֻׁלְחָנֶ֑ךָ כִּי־ כֵן֙ קָרְב֣וּ אֵלַ֔י בְּבָרְחִ֕י מִפְּנֵ֖י אַבְשָׁל֥וֹם אָחִֽיךָ׃

    But shew kindness unto the sons of Barzillai the Gileadite, and let them be of those that eat at thy table: for so they came to me when I fled because of Absalom thy brother.

    Maar aan de zonen van Barzillai, den Gileadiet, zult gij weldadigheid bewijzen, en zij zullen zijn onder degenen, die aan uw tafel eten; want alzo naderden zij tot mij, als ik vluchtte voor het aangezicht van uw broeder Absalom.

44. 1 Koningen 3:6

    וַיֹּ֣אמֶר שְׁלֹמֹ֗ה אַתָּ֨ה עָשִׂ֜יתָ עִם־ עַבְדְּךָ֙ דָוִ֣ד אָבִי֮ חֶ֣סֶד גָּדוֹל֒ כַּאֲשֶׁר֩ הָלַ֨ךְ לְפָנֶ֜יךָ בֶּאֱמֶ֧ת וּבִצְדָקָ֛ה וּבְיִשְׁרַ֥ת לֵבָ֖ב עִמָּ֑ךְ וַתִּשְׁמָר־ ל֗וֹ אֶת־ הַחֶ֤סֶד הַגָּדוֹל֙ הַזֶּ֔ה וַתִּתֶּן־ ל֥וֹ בֵ֛ן יֹשֵׁ֥ב עַל־ כִּסְא֖וֹ כַּיּ֥וֹם הַזֶּֽה׃

    And Solomon said, Thou hast shewed unto thy servant David my father great mercy, according as he walked before thee in truth, and in righteousness, and in uprightness of heart with thee; and thou hast kept for him this great kindness, that thou hast given him a son to sit on his throne, as it is this day.

    En Salomo zeide: Gij hebt aan Uw knecht David, mijn vader, grote weldadigheid gedaan, gelijk als hij voor Uw aangezicht gewandeld heeft, in waarheid, en in gerechtigheid, en in oprechtheid des harten met U; en Gij hebt hem deze grote weldadigheid gehouden, dat Gij hem gegeven hebt een zoon, zittende op zijn troon, als te dezen dage.

45. 1 Koningen 8:23

    וַיֹּאמַ֗ר יְהוָ֞ה אֱלֹהֵ֤י יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ אֵין־ כָּמ֣וֹךָ אֱלֹהִ֔ים בַּשָּׁמַ֣יִם מִמַּ֔עַל וְעַל־ הָאָ֖רֶץ מִתָּ֑חַת שֹׁמֵ֤ר הַבְּרִית֙ וְֽהַחֶ֔סֶד לַעֲבָדֶ֕יךָ הַהֹלְכִ֥ים לְפָנֶ֖יךָ בְּכָל־ לִבָּֽם׃

    And he said, LORD God of Israel, there is no God like thee, in heaven above, or on earth beneath, who keepest covenant and mercy with thy servants that walk before thee with all their heart:

    En hij zeide: HEERE, God van Israel, er is geen God, gelijk Gij, boven in den hemel, noch beneden op de aarde, houdende het verbond en de weldadigheid aan Uw knechten, die voor Uw aangezicht met hun ganse hart wandelen;

46. 1 Koningen 20:31

    וַיֹּאמְר֣וּ אֵלָיו֮ עֲבָדָיו֒ הִנֵּֽה־ נָ֣א שָׁמַ֔עְנוּ כִּ֗י מַלְכֵי֙ בֵּ֣ית יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל כִּֽי־ מַלְכֵ֥י חֶ֖סֶד הֵ֑ם נָשִׂ֣ימָה נָּא֩ שַׂקִּ֨ים בְּמָתְנֵ֜ינוּ וַחֲבָלִ֣ים בְּרֹאשֵׁ֗נוּ וְנֵצֵא֙ אֶל־ מֶ֣לֶךְ יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל אוּלַ֖י יְחַיֶּ֥ה אֶת־ נַפְשֶֽׁךָ׃

    And his servants said unto him, Behold now, we have heard that the kings of the house of Israel are merciful kings: let us, I pray thee, put sackcloth on our loins, and ropes upon our heads, and go out to the king of Israel: peradventure he will save thy life.

    Toen zeiden de knechten tot hem: Zie toch, wij hebben gehoord, dat de koningen van het huis Israels goedertierene koningen zijn; laat ons toch zakken om onze lenden leggen, en koorden om onze hoofden, en uitgaan tot den koning van Israel; mogelijk zal hij uw ziel in het leven behouden.

47. 1 Kronieken 16:34

    הוֹד֤וּ לַיהוָה֙ כִּ֣י ט֔וֹב כִּ֥י לְעוֹלָ֖ם חַסְדּֽוֹ׃

    O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever.

    Looft den HEERE, want Hij is goed, want Zijn goedertierenheid is tot in eeuwigheid.

48. 1 Kronieken 16:41

    וְעִמָּהֶם֙ הֵימָ֣ן וִֽידוּת֔וּן וּשְׁאָר֙ הַבְּרוּרִ֔ים אֲשֶׁ֥ר נִקְּב֖וּ בְּשֵׁמ֑וֹת לְהֹדוֹת֙ לַֽיהוָ֔ה כִּ֥י לְעוֹלָ֖ם חַסְדּֽוֹ׃

    And with them Heman and Jeduthun, and the rest that were chosen, who were expressed by name, to give thanks to the LORD, because his mercy endureth for ever;

    En met hen Heman en Jeduthun, en de overige uitgelezenen, die met namen uitgedrukt zijn om den HEERE te loven; want Zijn goedertierenheid is tot in der eeuwigheid.

49. 1 Kronieken 17:13

    אֲנִי֙ אֶֽהְיֶה־ לּ֣וֹ לְאָ֔ב וְה֖וּא יִֽהְיֶה־ לִּ֣י לְבֵ֑ן וְחַסְדִּי֙ לֹא־ אָסִ֣יר מֵֽעִמּ֔וֹ כַּאֲשֶׁ֣ר הֲסִיר֔וֹתִי מֵאֲשֶׁ֥ר הָיָ֖ה לְפָנֶֽיךָ׃

    I will be his father, and he shall be my son: and I will not take my mercy away from him, as I took it from him that was before thee:

    וַיֹּ֨אמֶר דָּוִ֜יד אֶֽעֱשֶׂה־ חֶ֣סֶד׀ עִם־ חָנ֣וּן בֶּן־ נָחָ֗שׁ כִּֽי־ עָשָׂ֨ה אָבִ֤יו עִמִּי֙ חֶ֔סֶד וַיִּשְׁלַ֥ח דָּוִ֛יד מַלְאָכִ֖ים לְנַחֲמ֣וֹ עַל־ אָבִ֑יו וַיָּבֹאוּ֩ עַבְדֵ֨י דָוִ֜יד אֶל־ אֶ֧רֶץ בְּנֵי־ עַמּ֛וֹן אֶל־ חָנ֖וּן לְנַחֲמֽוֹ׃

    And David said, I will shew kindness unto Hanun the son of Nahash, because his father shewed kindness to me. And David sent messengers to comfort him concerning his father. So the servants of David came into the land of the children of Ammon to Hanun, to comfort him.

    וַיֹּ֤אמֶר שְׁלֹמֹה֙ לֵֽאלֹהִ֔ים אַתָּ֗ה עָשִׂ֛יתָ עִם־ דָּוִ֥יד אָבִ֖י חֶ֣סֶד גָּד֑וֹל וְהִמְלַכְתַּ֖נִי תַּחְתָּֽיו׃

    And Solomon said unto God, Thou hast shewed great mercy unto David my father, and hast made me to reign in his stead.

    וַיְהִ֣י כְ֠אֶחָד לַמְחַצְּרִ֨ים וְלַמְשֹֽׁרֲרִ֜ים לְהַשְׁמִ֣יעַ קוֹל־ אֶחָ֗ד לְהַלֵּ֣ל וּלְהֹדוֹת֮ לַיהוָה֒ וּכְהָרִ֣ים ק֠וֹל בַּחֲצֹצְר֨וֹת וּבִמְצִלְתַּ֜יִם וּבִכְלֵ֣י הַשִּׁ֗יר וּבְהַלֵּ֤ל לַיהוָה֙ כִּ֣י ט֔וֹב כִּ֥י לְעוֹלָ֖ם חַסְדּ֑וֹ וְהַבַּ֛יִת מָלֵ֥א עָנָ֖ן בֵּ֥ית יְהוָֽה׃

    It came even to pass, as the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the LORD; and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of musick, and praised the LORD, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: that then the house was filled with a cloud, even the house of the LORD;

    Het geschiedde dan, als zij eenpariglijk trompetten en zongen, om een eenparige stem te laten horen, prijzende en lovende den HEERE; en als zij de stem verhieven met trompetten, en met cimbalen, en andere muzikale instrumenten, en als zij den HEERE prezen, dat Hij goed is, dat Zijn weldadigheid is tot in eeuwigheid; dat het huis met een wolk vervuld werd, namelijk het huis des HEEREN.

    And said, O LORD God of Israel, there is no God like thee in the heaven, nor in the earth; which keepest covenant, and shewest mercy unto thy servants, that walk before thee with all their hearts:

    And when all the children of Israel saw how the fire came down, and the glory of the LORD upon the house, they bowed themselves with their faces to the ground upon the pavement, and worshipped, and praised the LORD, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever.

    En als al de kinderen Israels dat vuur zagen afdalen, en de heerlijkheid des HEEREN over het huis, zo bukten zij met hun aangezichten ter aarde op den vloer, en aanbaden en loofden den HEERE, dat Hij goedig is, dat Zijn weldadigheid is tot in eeuwigheid.

56. 2 Kronieken 7:6

    And the priests waited on their offices: the Levites also with instruments of musick of the LORD, which David the king had made to praise the LORD, because his mercy endureth for ever, when David praised by their ministry; and the priests sounded trumpets before them, and all Israel stood.

    Ook stonden de priesters in hun wachten, en de Levieten met de muzikale instrumenten des HEEREN, die de koning David gemaakt had, om den HEERE te loven, dat Zijn weldadigheid is in eeuwigheid, als David door hun dienst Hem prees; en de priesters trompetten tegen hen over, en gans Israel stond.

57. 2 Kronieken 20:21

    וַיִּוָּעַץ֙ אֶל־ הָעָ֔ם וַיַּעֲמֵ֤ד מְשֹֽׁרֲרִים֙ לַיהוָ֔ה וּֽמְהַֽלְלִ֖ים לְהַדְרַת־ קֹ֑דֶשׁ בְּצֵאת֙ לִפְנֵ֣י הֶֽחָל֔וּץ וְאֹֽמְרִים֙ הוֹד֣וּ לַיהוָ֔ה כִּ֥י לְעוֹלָ֖ם חַסְדּֽוֹ׃

    And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed singers unto the LORD, and that should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army, and to say, Praise the LORD; for his mercy endureth for ever.

    Hij nu beraadslaagde zich met het volk, en hij stelde den HEERE zangers, die de heilige Majesteit prijzen zouden, voor de toegerusten uitgaande en zeggende: Looft den HEERE, want Zijn goedertierenheid is tot in eeuwigheid!

58. 2 Kronieken 24:22

    Thus Joash the king remembered not the kindness which Jehoiada his father had done to him, but slew his son. And when he died, he said, The LORD look upon it, and require it.

59. 2 Kronieken 32:32

    And they sang together by course in praising and giving thanks unto the LORD; because he is good, for his mercy endureth for ever toward Israel. And all the people shouted with a great shout, when they praised the LORD, because the foundation of the house of the LORD was laid.

    En zij zongen bij beurten, met den HEERE te loven en te danken, dat Hij goedig is, dat Zijn weldadigheid tot in eeuwigheid is over Israel. En al het volk juichte met groot gejuich, als men den HEERE loofde over de grondlegging van het huis des HEEREN.

62. Ezra 7:28

    וְעָלַ֣י הִטָּה־ חֶ֗סֶד לִפְנֵ֤י הַמֶּ֙לֶךְ֙ וְיֽוֹעֲצָ֔יו וּלְכָל־ שָׂרֵ֥י הַמֶּ֖לֶךְ הַגִּבֹּרִ֑ים וַאֲנִ֣י הִתְחַזַּ֗קְתִּי כְּיַד־ יְהוָ֤ה אֱלֹהַי֙ עָלַ֔י וָאֶקְבְּצָ֧ה מִיִּשְׂרָאֵ֛ל רָאשִׁ֖ים לַעֲל֥וֹת עִמִּֽי׃ פ

    And hath extended mercy unto me before the king, and his counsellors, and before all the king’s mighty princes. And I was strengthened as the hand of the LORD my God was upon me, and I gathered together out of Israel chief men to go up with me.

    En heeft tot mij weldadigheid geneigd, voor het aangezicht des konings en zijner raadsheren, en aller geweldige vorsten des konings! Zo heb ik mij gesterkt, naar de hand des HEEREN, mijns Gods, over mij, en de hoofden uit Israel vergaderd, om met mij op te trekken.

63. Ezra 9:9

    For we were bondmen; yet our God hath not forsaken us in our bondage, but hath extended mercy unto us in the sight of the kings of Persia, to give us a reviving, to set up the house of our God, and to repair the desolations thereof, and to give us a wall in Judah and in Jerusalem.

    Want wij zijn knechten; doch in onze dienstbaarheid heeft ons onze God niet verlaten; maar Hij heeft weldadigheid tot ons geneigd voor het aangezicht der koningen van Perzie, dat Hij ons een weinig levens gave, om het huis onzes Gods te verhogen, en de woestigheden van hetzelve op te richten, en om ons een tuin te geven in Juda en te Jeruzalem.

64. Nehemia 1:5

    וָאֹמַ֗ר אָֽנָּ֤א יְהוָה֙ אֱלֹהֵ֣י הַשָּׁמַ֔יִם הָאֵ֥ל הַגָּד֖וֹל וְהַנּוֹרָ֑א שֹׁמֵ֤ר הַבְּרִית֙ וָחֶ֔סֶד לְאֹהֲבָ֖יו וּלְשֹׁמְרֵ֥י מִצְוֹתָֽיו׃

    And said, I beseech thee, O LORD God of heaven, the great and terrible God, that keepeth covenant and mercy for them that love him and observe his commandments:

    En ik zeide: Och, HEERE, God des hemels, Gij, grote en vreselijke God! Die het verbond en de goedertierenheid houdt dien, die Hem liefhebben, en Zijn geboden houden.

65. Nehemia 9:17

    וַיְמָאֲנ֣וּ לִשְׁמֹ֗עַ וְלֹא־ זָכְר֤וּ נִפְלְאֹתֶ֙יךָ֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר עָשִׂ֣יתָ עִמָּהֶ֔ם וַיַּקְשׁוּ֙ אֶת־ עָרְפָּ֔ם וַיִּתְּנוּ־ רֹ֛אשׁ לָשׁ֥וּב לְעַבְדֻתָ֖ם בְּמִרְיָ֑ם וְאַתָּה֩ אֱל֨וֹהַּ סְלִיח֜וֹת חַנּ֧וּן וְרַח֛וּם אֶֽרֶךְ־ אַפַּ֥יִם וְרַב־ חֶ֖סֶד וְלֹ֥א עֲזַבְתָּֽם׃

    And refused to obey, neither were mindful of thy wonders that thou didst among them; but hardened their necks, and in their rebellion appointed a captain to return to their bondage: but thou art a God ready to pardon, gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and forsookest them not.

    En zij hebben geweigerd te horen, en niet gedacht aan Uw wonderen, die Gij bij hen gedaan hadt, en hebben hun nek verhard, en in hun wederspannigheid een hoofd gesteld, om weder te keren tot hun dienstbaarheid. Doch Gij, een God van vergevingen, genadig en barmhartig, lankmoedig, en groot van weldadigheid, hebt hen evenwel niet verlaten.

66. Nehemia 9:32

    Now therefore, our God, the great, the mighty, and the terrible God, who keepest covenant and mercy, let not all the trouble seem little before thee, that hath come upon us, on our kings, on our princes, and on our priests, and on our prophets, and on our fathers, and on all thy people, since the time of the kings of Assyria unto this day.

    Nu dan, o onze God, Gij grote, Gij machtige, en Gij vreselijke God, Die het verbond en de weldadigheid houdt; laat voor Uw aangezicht niet gering zijn al de moeite, die ons getroffen heeft, onze koningen, onze vorsten, en onze priesteren; en onze profeten, en onze vaderen, en Uw ganse volk, van de dagen der koningen van Assur af tot op dezen dag.

67. Nehemia 13:14

    זָכְרָה־ לִּ֥י אֱלֹהַ֖י עַל־ זֹ֑את וְאַל־ תֶּ֣מַח חֲסָדַ֗י אֲשֶׁ֥ר עָשִׂ֛יתִי בְּבֵ֥ית אֱלֹהַ֖י וּבְמִשְׁמָרָֽיו׃

    Remember me, O my God, concerning this, and wipe not out my good deeds that I have done for the house of my God, and for the offices thereof.

    Gedenk mijner, mijn God, in dezen; en delg mijn weldadigheden niet uit, die ik aan het huis mijns Gods en aan Zijn wachten gedaan heb.

68. Nehemia 13:22

    וָאֹמְרָ֣ה לַלְוִיִּ֗ם אֲשֶׁ֨ר יִֽהְי֤וּ מִֽטַּהֲרִים֙ וּבָאִים֙ שֹׁמְרִ֣ים הַשְּׁעָרִ֔ים לְקַדֵּ֖שׁ אֶת־ י֣וֹם הַשַּׁבָּ֑ת גַּם־ זֹאת֙ זָכְרָה־ לִּ֣י אֱלֹהַ֔י וְח֥וּסָה עָלַ֖י כְּרֹ֥ב חַסְדֶּֽךָ׃ פ

    And I commanded the Levites that they should cleanse themselves, and that they should come and keep the gates, to sanctify the sabbath day. Remember me, O my God, concerning this also, and spare me according to the greatness of thy mercy.

    Voorts zeide ik tot de Levieten, dat zij zich zouden reinigen, en de poorten komen wachten, om den sabbatdag te heiligen. Gedenk mijner ook in dezen, mijn God! en verschoon mij naar de veelheid Uwer goedertierenheid.

69. Ester 2:9

    וַתִּיטַ֨ב הַנַּעֲרָ֣ה בְעֵינָיו֮ וַתִּשָּׂ֣א חֶ֣סֶד לְפָנָיו֒ וַ֠יְבַהֵל אֶת־ תַּמְרוּקֶ֤יהָ וְאֶת־ מָנוֹתֶ֙הָ֙ לָתֵ֣ת לָ֔הּ וְאֵת֙ שֶׁ֣בַע הַנְּעָר֔וֹת הָרְאֻי֥וֹת לָֽתֶת־ לָ֖הּ מִבֵּ֣ית הַמֶּ֑לֶךְ וַיְשַׁנֶּ֧הָ וְאֶת־ נַעֲרוֹתֶ֛יהָ לְט֖וֹב בֵּ֥ית הַנָּשִֽׁים׃

    And the maiden pleased him, and she obtained kindness of him; and he speedily gave her her things for purification, with such things as belonged to her, and seven maidens, which were meet to be given her, out of the king’s house: and he preferred her and her maids unto the best place of the house of the women.

    En die jonge dochter was schoon in zijn ogen, en zij verkreeg gunst voor zijn aangezicht; daarom haastte hij met haar versierselen en met haar delen haar te geven, en zeven aanzienlijke jonge dochters haar te geven uit het huis des konings; en hij verplaatste haar en haar jonge dochters naar het beste van het huis der vrouwen.

70. Ester 2:17

    וַיֶּאֱהַ֨ב הַמֶּ֤לֶךְ אֶת־ אֶסְתֵּר֙ מִכָּל־ הַנָּשִׁ֔ים וַתִּשָּׂא־ חֵ֥ן וָחֶ֛סֶד לְפָנָ֖יו מִכָּל־ הַבְּתוּלֹ֑ת וַיָּ֤שֶׂם כֶּֽתֶר־ מַלְכוּת֙ בְּרֹאשָׁ֔הּ וַיַּמְלִיכֶ֖הָ תַּ֥חַת וַשְׁתִּֽי׃

    And the king loved Esther above all the women, and she obtained grace and favour in his sight more than all the virgins; so that he set the royal crown upon her head, and made her queen instead of Vashti.

71. Job 6:14

    לַמָּ֣ס מֵרֵעֵ֣הוּ חָ֑סֶד וְיִרְאַ֖ת שַׁדַּ֣י יַעֲזֽוֹב׃

    To him that is afflicted pity should be shewed from his friend; but he forsaketh the fear of the Almighty.

    Aan hem, die versmolten is, zou van zijn vriend weldadigheid geschieden; of hij zou de vreze des Almachtigen verlaten.

72. Job 10:12

    חַיִּ֣ים וָ֭חֶסֶד עָשִׂ֣יתָ עִמָּדִ֑י וּ֝פְקֻדָּתְךָ֗ שָֽׁמְרָ֥ה רוּחִֽי׃

    Thou hast granted me life and favour, and thy visitation hath preserved my spirit.

    Benevens het leven hebt Gij weldadigheid aan mij gedaan, en Uw opzicht heeft mijn geest bewaard.

73. Job 37:13

    אִם־ לְשֵׁ֥בֶט אִם־ לְאַרְצ֑וֹ אִם־ לְ֝חֶ֗סֶד יַמְצִאֵֽהוּ׃

    He causeth it to come, whether for correction, or for his land, or for mercy.

    Hetzij dat Hij die tot een roede, of tot Zijn land, of tot weldadigheid beschikt.

74. Psalmen 5:7

    וַאֲנִ֗י בְּרֹ֣ב חַ֭סְדְּךָ אָב֣וֹא בֵיתֶ֑ךָ אֶשְׁתַּחֲוֶ֥ה אֶל־ הֵֽיכַל־ קָ֝דְשְׁךָ֗ בְּיִרְאָתֶֽךָ׃

    But as for me, I will come into thy house in the multitude of thy mercy: and in thy fear will I worship toward thy holy temple.

    Maar ik zal door de grootheid Uwer goedertierenheid in Uw huis ingaan; ik zal mij buigen naar het paleis Uwer heiligheid, in Uw vreze.

75. Psalmen 6:4

    שׁוּבָ֣ה יְ֭הוָה חַלְּצָ֣ה נַפְשִׁ֑י ה֝וֹשִׁיעֵ֗נִי לְמַ֣עַן חַסְדֶּֽךָ׃

    Return, O LORD, deliver my soul: oh save me for thy mercies’ sake.

    Keer weder, HEERE, red mijn ziel; verlos mij, om Uwer goedertierenheid wil.

76. Psalmen 13:5

    וַאֲנִ֤י׀ בְּחַסְדְּךָ֣ בָטַחְתִּי֮ יָ֤גֵ֥ל לִבִּ֗י בִּֽישׁוּעָ֫תֶ֥ךָ

    But I have trusted in thy mercy; my heart shall rejoice in thy salvation.

77. Psalmen 17:7

    הַפְלֵ֣ה חֲ֭סָדֶיךָ מוֹשִׁ֣יעַ חוֹסִ֑ים מִ֝מִּתְקוֹמְמִ֗ים בִּֽימִינֶֽךָ׃

    Shew thy marvellous lovingkindness, O thou that savest by thy right hand them which put their trust in thee from those that rise up against them.

    Maak Uw weldadigheden wonderbaar, Gij, Die verlost degenen, die op U betrouwen, van degenen, die tegen Uw rechterhand opstaan!

78. Psalmen 18:50

    מַגְדִּיל֮ יְשׁוּע֪וֹת מַ֫לְכּ֥וֹ וְעֹ֤שֶׂה חֶ֨סֶד׀ לִמְשִׁיח֗וֹ לְדָוִ֥ד וּלְזַרְע֗וֹ עַד־ עוֹלָֽם׃

    Great deliverance giveth he to his king; and sheweth mercy to his anointed, to David, and to his seed for evermore.

    Die de verlossingen Zijns konings groot maakt, en goedertierenheid doet aan Zijn gezalfde, aan David en aan zijn zaad tot in eeuwigheid.

79. Psalmen 21:7

    כִּֽי־ הַ֭מֶּלֶךְ בֹּטֵ֣חַ בַּיהוָ֑ה וּבְחֶ֥סֶד עֶ֝לְי֗וֹן בַּל־ יִמּֽוֹט׃

    For the king trusteth in the LORD, and through the mercy of the most High he shall not be moved.

    Want de koning vertrouwt op den HEERE, en door de goedertierenheid des Allerhoogsten zal hij niet wankelen.

80. Psalmen 23:6

    אַ֤ךְ׀ ט֤וֹב וָחֶ֣סֶד יִ֭רְדְּפוּנִי כָּל־ יְמֵ֣י חַיָּ֑י וְשַׁבְתִּ֥י בְּבֵית־ יְ֝הוָ֗ה לְאֹ֣רֶךְ יָמִֽים׃

    Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.

    Immers zullen mij het goede en de weldadigheid volgen al de dagen mijns levens; en ik zal in het huis des HEEREN blijven in lengte van dagen.

81. Psalmen 25:6

    זְכֹר־ רַחֲמֶ֣יךָ יְ֭הוָה וַחֲסָדֶ֑יךָ כִּ֖י מֵעוֹלָ֣ם הֵֽמָּה׃

    Remember, O LORD, thy tender mercies and thy lovingkindnesses; for they have been ever of old.

    Zain. Gedenk, HEERE! Uwer barmhartigheden en Uwer goedertierenheden, want die zijn van eeuwigheid.

82. Psalmen 25:7

    חַטֹּ֤אות נְעוּרַ֨י׀ וּפְשָׁעַ֗י אַל־ תִּ֫זְכֹּ֥ר כְּחַסְדְּךָ֥ זְכָר־ לִי־ אַ֑תָּה לְמַ֖עַן טוּבְךָ֣ יְהוָֽה׃

    Remember not the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions: according to thy mercy remember thou me for thy goodness’ sake, O LORD.

    Cheth. Gedenk niet der zonden mijner jonkheid, noch mijner overtredingen; gedenk mijner naar Uw goedertierenheid, om Uwer goedheid wil, o HEERE!

83. Psalmen 25:10

    כָּל־ אָרְח֣וֹת יְ֭הוָה חֶ֣סֶד וֶאֱמֶ֑ת לְנֹצְרֵ֥י בְ֝רִית֗וֹ וְעֵדֹתָֽיו׃

    All the paths of the LORD are mercy and truth unto such as keep his covenant and his testimonies.

84. Psalmen 26:3

    כִּֽי־ חַ֭סְדְּךָ לְנֶ֣גֶד עֵינָ֑י וְ֝הִתְהַלַּ֗כְתִּי בַּאֲמִתֶּֽךָ׃

    For thy lovingkindness is before mine eyes: and I have walked in thy truth.

    Want Uw goedertierenheid is voor mijn ogen, en ik wandel in Uw waarheid.

85. Psalmen 31:7

    אָגִ֥ילָה וְאֶשְׂמְחָ֗ה בְּחַ֫סְדֶּ֥ךָ אֲשֶׁ֣ר רָ֭אִיתָ אֶת־ עָנְיִ֑י יָ֝דַ֗עְתָּ בְּצָר֥וֹת נַפְשִֽׁי׃

    I will be glad and rejoice in thy mercy: for thou hast considered my trouble; thou hast known my soul in adversities;

    Ik zal mij verheugen en verblijden in Uw goedertierenheid, omdat Gij mijn ellende hebt aangezien, en mijn ziel in benauwdheden gekend;

86. Psalmen 31:16

    הָאִ֣ירָה פָ֭נֶיךָ עַל־ עַבְדֶּ֑ךָ ה֖וֹשִׁיעֵ֣נִי בְחַסְדֶּֽךָ׃

    Make thy face to shine upon thy servant: save me for thy mercies’ sake.

    Laat Uw aangezicht over Uw knecht lichten; verlos mij door Uw goedertierenheid.

87. Psalmen 31:21

    בָּר֥וּךְ יְהוָ֑ה כִּ֥י הִפְלִ֘יא חַסְדּ֥וֹ לִ֝֗י בְּעִ֣יר מָצֽוֹר׃

    Blessed be the LORD: for he hath shewed me his marvellous kindness in a strong city.

    Geloofd zij de HEERE, want Hij heeft Zijn goedertierenheid aan mij wonderlijk gemaakt, mij voerende als in een vaste stad.

88. Psalmen 32:10

    רַבִּ֥ים מַכְאוֹבִ֗ים לָרָ֫שָׁ֥ע וְהַבּוֹטֵ֥חַ בַּיהוָ֑ה חֶ֝֗סֶד יְסוֹבְבֶֽנּוּ׃

    Many sorrows shall be to the wicked: but he that trusteth in the LORD, mercy shall compass him about.

    De goddeloze heeft veel smarten, maar die op den HEERE vertrouwt, dien zal de goedertierenheid omringen.

89. Psalmen 33:5

    אֹ֭הֵב צְדָקָ֣ה וּמִשְׁפָּ֑ט חֶ֥סֶד יְ֝הוָ֗ה מָלְאָ֥ה הָאָֽרֶץ׃

    He loveth righteousness and judgment: the earth is full of the goodness of the LORD.

    Hij heeft gerechtigheid en gericht lief; de aarde is vol van de goedertierenheid des HEEREN.

90. Psalmen 33:18

    הִנֵּ֤ה עֵ֣ין יְ֭הוָה אֶל־ יְרֵאָ֑יו לַֽמְיַחֲלִ֥ים לְחַסְדּֽוֹ׃

    Behold, the eye of the LORD is upon them that fear him, upon them that hope in his mercy;

    Ziet, des HEEREN oog is over degenen, die Hem vrezen, op degenen, die op Zijn goedertierenheid hopen.

91. Psalmen 33:22

    יְהִֽי־ חַסְדְּךָ֣ יְהוָ֣ה עָלֵ֑ינוּ כַּ֝אֲשֶׁ֗ר יִחַ֥לְנוּ לָֽךְ׃

    Let thy mercy, O LORD, be upon us, according as we hope in thee.

    Uw goedertierenheid, HEERE! zij over ons; gelijk als wij op U hopen.

92. Psalmen 36:5

    יְ֭הוָה בְּהַשָּׁמַ֣יִם חַסְדֶּ֑ךָ אֱ֝מֽוּנָתְךָ֗ עַד־ שְׁחָקִֽים׃

    Thy mercy, O LORD, is in the heavens; and thy faithfulness reacheth unto the clouds.

    O HEERE! Uw goedertierenheid is tot in de hemelen; Uw waarheid tot de bovenste wolken toe.

93. Psalmen 36:7

    מַה־ יָּקָ֥ר חַסְדְּךָ֗ אֱלֹ֫הִ֥ים וּבְנֵ֥י אָדָ֑ם בְּצֵ֥ל כְּ֝נָפֶ֗יךָ יֶחֱסָיֽוּן׃

    How excellent is thy lovingkindness, O God! therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of thy wings.

    Hoe dierbaar is Uw goedertierenheid, o God! Dies de mensenkinderen onder de schaduw Uwer vleugelen toevlucht nemen.

94. Psalmen 36:10

    מְשֹׁ֣ךְ חַ֭סְדְּךָ לְיֹדְעֶ֑יךָ וְ֝צִדְקָֽתְךָ֗ לְיִשְׁרֵי־ לֵֽב׃

    O continue thy lovingkindness unto them that know thee; and thy righteousness to the upright in heart.

    Strek Uw goedertierenheid uit over degenen, die U kennen, en Uw gerechtigheid over de oprechten van hart.

95. Psalmen 40:10

    צִדְקָתְךָ֬ לֹא־ כִסִּ֨יתִי׀ בְּת֬וֹךְ לִבִּ֗י אֱמוּנָתְךָ֣ וּתְשׁוּעָתְךָ֣ אָמָ֑רְתִּי לֹא־ כִחַ֥דְתִּי חַסְדְּךָ֥ וַ֝אֲמִתְּךָ֗ לְקָהָ֥ל רָֽב׃

    I have not hid thy righteousness within my heart; I have declared thy faithfulness and thy salvation: I have not concealed thy lovingkindness and thy truth from the great congregation.

    Uw gerechtigheid bedek ik niet in het midden mijns harten; Uw waarheid en Uw heil spreek ik uit; Uw weldadigheid en Uw trouw verheel ik niet in de grote gemeente.

96. Psalmen 40:11

    אַתָּ֤ה יְהוָ֗ה לֹא־ תִכְלָ֣א רַחֲמֶ֣יךָ מִמֶּ֑נִּי חַסְדְּךָ֥ וַ֝אֲמִתְּךָ֗ תָּמִ֥יד יִצְּרֽוּנִי׃

    Withhold not thou thy tender mercies from me, O LORD: let thy lovingkindness and thy truth continually preserve me.

    Gij, o HEERE! zult Uw barmhartigheden van mij niet onthouden; laat Uw weldadigheid en Uw trouw mij geduriglijk behoeden.

97. Psalmen 42:8

    יוֹמָ֤ם׀ יְצַוֶּ֬ה יְהוָ֨ה׀ חַסְדּ֗וֹ וּ֭בַלַּיְלָה שִׁיר֣וֹ עִמִּ֑י תְּ֝פִלָּ֗ה לְאֵ֣ל חַיָּֽי׃

    Yet the LORD will command his lovingkindness in the daytime, and in the night his song shall be with me, and my prayer unto the God of my life.

    Maar de HEERE zal des daags Zijn goedertierenheid gebieden, en des nachts zal Zijn lied bij mij zijn; het gebed tot den God mijns levens.

98. Psalmen 44:26

    ק֭וּמָֽה עֶזְרָ֣תָה לָּ֑נוּ וּ֝פְדֵ֗נוּ לְמַ֣עַן חַסְדֶּֽךָ׃

    Arise for our help, and redeem us for thy mercies’ sake.

99. Psalmen 48:9

    דִּמִּ֣ינוּ אֱלֹהִ֣ים חַסְדֶּ֑ךָ בְּ֝קֶ֗רֶב הֵיכָלֶֽךָ׃

    We have thought of thy lovingkindness, O God, in the midst of thy temple.

    O God! wij gedenken Uwer weldadigheid, in het midden Uws tempels.

100. Psalmen 51:1

     חָנֵּ֣נִי אֱלֹהִ֣ים כְּחַסְדֶּ֑ךָ כְּרֹ֥ב רַ֝חֲמֶ֗יךָ מְחֵ֣ה פְשָׁעָֽי׃

     Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions.

     Wees mij genadig, o God! naar Uw goedertierenheid; delg mijn overtreding uit, naar de grootheid Uwer barmhartigheden.
